Are there specific image requirements?
TeePublic prints using hi-res PNG files. The recommend resolution is 150 PPI or above, with dimensions set to 1500x1995px or larger.
When is the latest I can submit my design?
Submissions will close 11:59pm EST on October 25th, 2020. Submissions after this date and time that use the hashtag #DBDContest2020 will not be included in the contest.
When will the results be announced?
The results of the contest will be announced October 31st, 2020 across all Death by Dying social media accounts.
Can I submit more than one piece of fan art?
One entry per artist, so make sure to use the hashtag #DBDContest2020 and @DeathByDyingPod on the Twitter post for the artwork you'd like to submit. Multiple entires by the same user will disqualify them from participating in the contest.
If I've already posted DBD fan art online, can I submit it?
Of course! Make a new post and upload your fan art to Twitter using the hashtag #DBDContest2020 and @DeathByDyingPod. Only posts that use the hashtag #DBDContest2020 will be considered.
Will you accept entries via Tumblr, Instagram, or FaceBook posts?
This contest is only accepting entries through Twitter. Posts that use the hashtag #DBDContest2020 on social media platforms other than Twitter will not be submitted to the contest. We encourage you to make a Twitter account and follow the submission guidelines to enter.
Does my fan art have to be from a specific episode?
Anything Death by Dying related is encouraged. Favorite quotes, scenes, characters, specials, Crestfall shops or locations... go nuts!
How do I know my artwork was submitted?
Use the hashtag #DBDContest2020 and @DeathByDyingPod on Twitter. This way we are guaranteed to see your post.
If I win, how will I get paid for my t-shirt design sales?
Winners will receive a portion of their t-shirt sales by creating an account with TeePublic. We will coordinate via email to make sure your design gets up on our store as soon as possible!
